Rest In Peace Blaze
I haven’t been here in a while, but as some of you know, Blazefire and I went to school together and were friends from junior high to college. It’s with a very heavy heart that I share the news of his passing away the day after Christmas. I lost touch with him years ago after we broke up, so I just got the news but wanted to let any of his past friends who may try to reach him know. His son also has brain tumors and the family has a link for donations on his obituary here:
https://www.bacarellafuneralhome.com/m/ ... r/Memories
His family also has a GoFund me here:
https://www.gofundme.com/f/eric-and-max ... o%2Bupdate
I’m going to miss his battle bots, dress ups and twisted humor. Maybe we could share any memories we have of him on his family’s page so that they may show his son as well.

Re: Rest In Peace Blazefire
I’m sorry to hear that. I realize I’m getting old, but I’m not sure I know who Blazefire is, and there doesn’t appear to be a user here with that username.

Actually, is it Blaze? It’s been a long time if so. Strangely, when I was going back to investigate a little, one of the things that came up back in 2008 when he was last active was Rors’ announcement that he was married. I guess it’s a small world with another closed loop.

He had used both before for different platforms but you’re 100% right. It was Blaze here. For the longest time he had the Agent Smith avatar.

Blaze was one of the people I met on my tour of the US back in 2004. He and his family were very nice to me during that time. I got to meet Corey because of it too so all the bonus points. I am sad that this happened to him but am glad that he is not in pain any more.

What's all this?
I remember our original Blaze seemed to leave under something of a cloud, which was a shame. A prodigious post count if I remember correctly.

Wow, seeing your old wedding announcement reminded me of when I got to meet Koeniu a few years ago in NYC.

Just looking over that wedding post. And as much as it’s very bittersweet, the main memory from is was how handsome Hirshof was. Man that dude was handsome.
He gave Deacon‘s real pic, and Mandor’s fake pic, a run for their money.

Yeah, that’s weird. What’s that about?

It may be because some of the posts were waiting for approval. Check again and see if they show for you. I approved the posts. Sorry to hear of a forumite passing. My condolences to you Corey.

Ah. I forget Martin made changes for new users to combat spam.
I remember Blaze, though I didn't know him well. He was a card and I hate that he left on a sour note. Always sucks to hear of someone so young passing.
