Re: Randomness
If you haven't been watching Killjoys you are missing out. I was really disappointed to find out this is the last season. Yes it is a bit SyFy cheesy and sometimes the plot goes sideways, but it's also smart and funny so put it on your watch list!

Re: Randomness
Nicola has just told me that thing about the guy from The Mamas and the Papas.
I don’t think I needed to know that.

Re: Randomness
I have an idea for a new service/company. Hire out as a pretend customer to people who work in customer service and let them vent/rage as you are a total asshat. I think insurance would cover it as therapy
. Company name "Whipping Boy". Should I just start the GoFundMe now?

Re: Randomness
There's actually a company that does something like that in Japan. They hire out people to grovel and apologize and take verbal abuse. It's kinda weird to be honest.

Re: Randomness
I feel like the Japanese have a service company for everything. I watched a youtube video featuring a couple that hired a Japanese moving company...The service was insane. Handled packing and everything even down to removing ceiling lights from the apartment at the end. Before doing anything they completely lined the hall and floor with cardboard protectors.

Re: Randomness
That's a high end, expensive moving service. The moving service package most people use is more along the lines of what everyone else in the world does. You pack you boxed and furniture, and the moving services guys show up and put everything that's already packed on a truck. Most moving companies won't move boxes up/down stairs in a house, or won't in apartments above the second story if there's no elevator.
It's actually cheaper to just pack boxes and ship them through the mail and only use movers for furniture.

I’ve just found out Blippi’s real name is ‘Stevin’. And I thought he was a cunt before.

I don't know who that is, and I'm guessing I'm better for it.

If you are looking for a good scifi check out Raising Dion on Netflix. It was surprisingly good.

Re: Randomness
Sounds like a spin on Raising Arizona.

Re: Randomness
It's nothing like Raising Arizona, thankfully. It was quite good. My son loved it. Little kid gains magical powers and single Mom has to figure out how to raise and protect him while uncovering how it happened in the first place.
