So I was thinking about how awesome it would be to go to a Christmas party for a place like Food Network or one of the many popular food mags. Then I considered how terrifying it would be if you were employed there and had to make something for the party. "OMG that nutmeg Michelle used was NOT organic" "So you made veggie dip? like with the recipe on the back of the package?!" I just see everything being nitpicked with so many people vying to make "the" dish.

I see such a get together as catered and spottily attended. These are all stars in their own mind. Why would they all gather in one city at once for a Christmas party with competitors?

Which is why I've been asked to go home. She fell down stairs twice into the concrete basement and apparently she hasn't been the same since. I'm essentially going to be paid to keep track of her and maintain the family farm while she recovers.

Also, today, while walking, I saw a foursome of ducks mating: two males, two females. It was quite randy.
