Re: Namesakes emails
Do people go to reunions? Having moved out of state and not actually staying in touch with people from High School, I skipped my 10 year. 20 is in only 3 years now that I think about it. Should I actually consider going to that?

Re: Namesakes emails
Some people do go to them. I've thought about going to my 25 next year, but there isn't very many people from my school days that I want to see again.

I'm dreading it. An endless array of cheerleaders and prom queens.
"Hey, remember banging me?"
"Uh..."
"Hey, remember banging me?"
"Uh..."
etc
Probably.

Hahaha, I love the thoughtful intelligent conversations I can always find here. I did not go to my 10 or 20, partly because I was not anywhere near when they happened and partly because we had like 40 students. So a reunion for us might be 5 people.Rorschach wrote:Ur mom

Going to my High School reunion would be like being guest host at the Jerry Springer show.

It seems as though the general consesus is "they're awful holdovers from a bygone era, where people never strayed farther than an hour from where they grew up" and I shouldn't bother going unless by cosmic coincedence I happen to be nearby.

Maybe fo you sad-sacks but I ruled my high school.
I remember one time I faked illness so I could goof around the city all day in my friend's father's sports car. The student body were so alarmed they set up a 'Save Gianni' fund.
IIRC.

Here's a new one. Attached was a spreadsheet listing out about 75 different pieces of furniture totaling 11,420 units of some unspecified currency.

PS I wrote him back and told him to be more careful regarding to whom exactly he sends phone numbers.
