Rant:

So, been trying to leave my current job for about the past three years. Been employed there about three years now :-p I just started putting out some applications and dear lord, it took me an hour just to complete one application! I don't remember it being so bad before. Is the economy that bad now? Ugh, I want to toss my laptop!!!

Rave:

Easter tomorrow with my daughter and she is one next week :)

The good thing about kids that age is that they need help with their Easter eggs.

Any plans, aml? You should come to Scotland. I mean, I can't think of a single selling-point, but I'd like to meet you.

Rave: This month sees the final payment of my 1995-1998 student loan. It wasn't worth it.
Rant: Only my 2002-2006 one to pay now. £14k + change. No, I'm not a doctor.

Two good milestones. It's nice to hear. I could use a win of some sort, myself. Not that I'm "losing" lately, just keeping on keeping on.

That's selling point enough. ;) As my lady just got a new job and has no vacation yet, I will unfortunately be spending this "vacation" at home. I will put a picture of you near my bed to at least simulate the experience though.

I know the feeling. This is the first "victory" for me in over 2 years. And this was the kind of victory that left the entire team looking like a bunch of civil war vets; beaten, bloody, and demoralized. I mean, I'll take it (better than the alternative), but still not good. Best of luck to you... just do as you say. Keep on keeping on.
