Re: New Year resolutions
I've resolved to go to at least three places that I've never been to before.
Also to start cooking instead of going out for takeout or restaurant food every night. Because it's about time that I had at least one practical and semi-useful hobby.

To become financially stable and prepare for a house. I'm tired of apartments.

Live a healthier lifestyle. Going to be hard in Culinary school, but I'm no longer going to be lazy and take the elevator to my locker.

Frank's Hot Sauce, on everything.
Actually, that's not really a proper resolution. This year I'm going to learn to relax, even if it kills me.

Re: New Year resolutions
I don't believe in New Year's Resolutions. If you wanna do something, why wait til Jan. 1?
Some stuff I've been working on, though, to contribute: Lose 15 lbs., pay off the remaining credit debt, clean my room, become a robot

Re: New Year resolutions
Although I've never been one for resolutions, I vowed to live healthier and lose some weight last year. While exercise has been nonexistent due to work, the nutrition end went well; I'm now back at a stable and happy weight of 170. (Believe it or not I was up to 195 a year ago.) The only real trouble points occur when I visit the family during the holidays. It also helps that I like vegetables and water.
This year, I may resolve to do something about the exercise but have the sense that it won't pan out.
I just want to get published. It WILL happen.

Re: New Year resolutions
If the resolutions of others are anything like mine, then they're things that we do try all year.
New Year is just like hitting a booster ramp of shame and guilt.

Re: New Year resolutions
I've been working on this for the last several months, but it doesn't hurt to say it out-loud (or type it). I will lose atleast 40 lbs this year. I hope to lose more, but I think 40 is do-able for sure.

Re: New Year resolutions
I'd like to get my weight below 200 for starters. Find my own place and location by the end of the year, as well as a new job.
