Bah... hopefully a C-section won't be necessary.

Well, our mothers also gave vaginal births except for one, and that was due to other complications (my wife's little sister was out of position even though the mother was going into labor). Also, we have a friend that just gave birth to a 10 lb, 7 oz baby without a c-section.

My brother was a heavy 13 lb baby, my mother complained it was like giving birth to a brick. It probably came from my mother's craving for meat during his pregnancy.

He's now the skinniest and tallest guy in the family.

Well, we personally decided against it for our first girl because the middle name will start with a Z, and we didn't want a female child to have the initials "E.Z." But that isn't why my mother-in-law didn't like it. I'm still not quite sure why, but it was probably because she didn't have input on it previously.

Hah, my brother rejected a possible name for his child for exactly the same reason (except it's our surname that begins with a Z.)

This whole idea of forumites actually reproducing has never sat well with me, and I suspect that it never will, probably because it implies that Mav, Deacon, Fuggle, and cs22 will reproduce.

Maybe together.

They would all have to find someone, male or female, that would consider them attractive enough/sociable to date first, Martin.

Yes, Cidders, you're far above that particular fray.

On a map I would be. :D

Since I've made my way into this thread: congratulations Tower! Best of luck with the wife and kids.
