I was just reading over the line-up schedule, and it finally hit me that I am actually GOING.
I bought my tickets months ago, but it never really sunk in.
Interpol gives an interesting show, NIN gives a great show. I would like to see Tom Petty and perhaps The Flaming Lips, but that's about it for that list.
Holy CRAP that's a lot of bands! And quite a few of them are actually decent!
The follies which a man regrets the most in his life are those which he didn't commit when he had the opportunity. - Helen Rowland, A Guide to Men, 1922
Oh, I wish I could be jealous, but the only band on that list I'd like to see is Metric (I didn't know they were still together, I love them). Still, I'm sure you'll get your money's worth just by showing up....there's gonna be a great crowd there, for sure. Unlike Merritt Mountain; stay away from that freak show....
METRIC - Not so great live, but decent.
WOLFMOTHER - Fantastic. For some reason they played a lot of their songs slower, but still great.
SERJ TANKIAN - Wanted to see him, but had to get shit organized at that point. I heard it from the tent, and he sounded awesome
INTERPOL - Meh. All their songs sound the same. Time killer for NIN.
NIN - AMAZING
