She was 8lbs 5. Which, Nicola assures me, was quite heavy enough, thank-you very much.

The poor woman in the bed opposite her had a 10lb 10-er. :shock:

I don't know what her length was as noone seemed to measure her.

8lbs is about average. My brother was 11lbs though and I cringe everytime I think about it. I bet if you looked at her birth certificate, there's a length. I think they take it to see how well the baby is growing at her first doctor's appointment.

Anyways, congratulations Daddy Rorschach!

My brother weighted 12 pounds at birth, which my mother compared to giving birth to a brick. Me, on the other hand weight less than a half a pound. Even though I was born on time, I was put into the premature unit for a good couple of days.

I'm surprised you didn't make national news if you were under 8 ounces. So far the smallest baby ever born is just a hair over half a pound and was 15 weeks premature.

You need to check your math. That's EXTREMELY unlikely, ESPECIALLY for a child carried to term.
