The Song Game

Post by Firenze » Thu May 01, 2003 12:58 pm

The first person types in 2 or more lines of a song and the next person must guess the name of the artist and of the song then post their lyrics.

-P.S. Try not to use an obvious line or the chorus of the song but try to use a song that everyone would know

Lets get started..

It's like a face that I hold inside
A face that awakes when I close my eyes
A face watches every time I lie
A face that laughs every time I fall

Start guessing !
"Make way for the Lord High Executioner"

Bah this is easy...
It's Papercut by Linkin Park

Here are the Lyrics to prove it too... ... ercut.html

Ok my turn...

So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye -
So you think you can love me and leave me to die -
Oh Baby - Can't do this to me baby -
Just gotta get out - just gotta get right outta here -

his is easy if you know a certin 90's movie inside out...
Why not hop over to the FFRPG project.

...and the thread dies for seven years because no one has ever heard of the band Cousin Oliver, let alone the song "Shot My Boss" without Googling the lyrics. so, yeah, I'll try to find one that people are more likely to recognize. Your mileage may vary.

Midnight creeps so slowly into hearts of men who need more than they get
Daylight deals a bad hand to a woman who has laid too many bets
The mirror stares you in the face and says "baby, uh-uh, it don't work"
You say your prayers though you don't care; you dance and you shake the hurt
