Merry Christmas. A movie based on WWI. It's happening in 1914, christmas eve. Germans, French and Scottish soldiers get out of their trench and celebrate christmas. It's a franco-German production.

The infamous game of football? Unfortunately the Scots got put out in the first round and never made the finals

Germans won all the games, mostly due to their dirty play in the snow.

I like the part (not a spoiler) when they are all in their trench, a German soldier is singing for his comrades while the Scots are playing bagpipes. And the Scots stop their current song and try to follow the German singer.

Everyone is speaking in their native language and accents (like the Scots hehe). I think it's the first time I watch a movie with the cast speaking three languages.

The notebook -

MOCK ME IF YOU WILL. Its a drama/romance about these two teen lovers. I found it really sad and actually cried during it, but yeah a very good movie.

The longest yard - similar to mean machine, a bunch of convicts led by a former nfl great player (adam sandler) sets up a team to play against the prison guards.

Nice try Aussiebloke, but don't think putting a last-minute Adam Sandler movie down makes you any less of a flaming queen

Besides the fact that I really can't see Sandler as an NFL great. He's just too dang scrawny. Sap that I am, though, I loved his stuff with Drew Barrymore.

I totally agree, I too saw it last night. It was even better than Kung Fu Soccer.

The original starring Burt Reynolds, however was a great flick.
