It’s not a phrase we use so it’s thanks to this show that I’ve learned what ‘gish gallop’ means.

I've never heard that before, and it's perfect.

Everything will be AI driven chat bots or app self service. If you've used chat to speak to an actual company, and it's a big company, chances are that you've experienced AI chat already during some of that interaction without knowing it.
Note: this isn't at you---you just reminded me that:

Nice!
My state just decriminalized small possession (i.e. without intent to sell) of all(?) drugs, and legalized medical mushrooms.

Ask me anything - no, really - but be warned: I will answer. If you didn't want to know... don't ask.

I fully expect rambling and good-natured posts from you both about how comfortable your socks are.auntmousie wrote: ↑Sat Nov 21, 2020 5:15 amNice!

RAVE: Jeffrey Dean Morgan Walking Dead/Supernatural brought his dog in to be seen at my vets office today. He was so nice and funny. He also smelled really good lol. Love his voice, I wasn't up for his appointment but I had to go in and ask him a couple of questions. My brush with fame my first celebrity.

Very much so and his dog was a sweetie who he said he rescued so if I wasn't a fan before (I was) I would certainly be now.

Ha! That’s awesome. Did you bother him for a pic? Or the name of his cologne?

Re: Son of Rantettes & Ravettes
That is super-cool. My closest celebrity meet was also a Walking Dead one. I saw Norman Reedus in an American Airlines Admirals Club, sitting down as I was on my way out. I quietly checked who he was (it was obvious--he looked dead-on like Daryl), asked to shake his hand, and he obliged. Told him how much I loved his work on the show, and he thanked me. Really wish I had asked him about his painting, but I also had a flight to catch.
A friend worked as a secretary at Disney Studios in Burbank and MAJORLY broke the rules when Julie Andrews came in by asking for an autograph for me--I'm a HUGE Mary Poppins fan. She was lovely and happily obliged; my friend's boss waited until Ms. Andrews was gone and told her that if she ever did that again, she'd be fired on the spot. Studios have very strict rules against employees doing such things. Friend told me it was worth it to get that signature for me.

If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

Re: Son of Rantettes & Ravettes
I think Julie Andrews as Mary Poppins is possibly the sexiest woman ever put onscreen.
That wee twinkle in her eye when she’s being all prim. She’s just so saucy.
If we’re name-dropping, Neil Kinnock once told me to ‘mind the cars, son’ although that probably isn’t very impressive if you’re American. Or British, come to that.

And you restored with a shouted, "Back off, Brussels!" and sent him a long with a torrent of curses and insults in barely intelligible Scottish slang?Neil Kinnock once told me to ‘mind the cars, son’

Deacon, are you watching Al Murray's The Pub Landlord? That was a real Pub Landlordism. Although perhaps just a coincidence.
