5 months until it gets good? Well, The Werefrog can wait. Sure, 2018 brought a promising Alzheimer's treatment, but let's see what we get May 2019.

NIce! I was curious if a day had been set or if you were going to be one of those forever engaged couples. May 18th is an especially awesome day

Re: Happy New Year
It's half way through Jan already and 2019 is feeling pretty decent. I hope you all are having a good new year so far.

Re: Happy New Year
What a shitty new year. I got so sick that my doctor couldn't find my pulse and my blood pressure almost wasn't. IVs suck, hospitals suck, and seven pills three times a day just to be able to walk without passing out sucks.
On the plus side at least Japanese medical insurance covers everything. And one of the pills has an odd mint aftertaste. I take that pill last, it's my favorite.
Hope for a better new year for everyone else! With, you know, no pills and less breaking glasses by passing out on top of them. Repeatedly.

Re: Happy New Year
Sounds awful, what did the diagnosis end up being that you need that many pills daily? I hope that is like an antibiotic course and not a do this forever kind of thing. Hope you feel better soon!

Re: Happy New Year
Thanks. I'm beginning to get better. I still have a mystery fever, and my blood pressure is still way too low, but I'm not bleeding internally, which is a plus (and an actual danger, as the scar tissue from my old cancer surgery could rip something open, apparently). Docs don't know what it is, but nothing is coming up on tests, and my body seems to be recovering on its own for the most part, so one of the nurses jokingly commented it must be my ten year reboot cycle. The user manual sure as hell didn't mention that.
And cherry blossoms may be starting in a month, which is awesome. And terrifying. A chunk of them blossomed late last year when they weren't supposed to, so the main blossom will probably suck in my area. Climate change, it kills the planet and ruins cherry blossom viewing. It sucks.
