It was tempting, but the shutters look so good now, I had to reluctantly admit they were right. And no one has complained about the color being off, so I guess it's done. I did sunburn the snot out of my calves.

Dear World Health Organization:

ICD-10 is an evil system and I hope you all feel bad about creating these unholy codes. Also, trying to test this crap so we can comply with this profane system is like having my scrotum pulled over my head.

In closing, bite me.

Sincerely,
Frustrated IT Guy

To the simulated citizens of my city in Cities: Skylines

I knew I should have made a backup of the city.

I knew I should have done this when I accidentally deleted a piece of railroad track that ran off the edge of the map and couldn't replace it. Or when I created a rotary to "alleviate traffic" and created a line of cars that would in real life have cost people their jobs.

Yet I never got around to making the backup save file. And then something went wrong on the file, and you were all lost into the void.

For all we know it may be possible that you came out somewhere on the other end; that somebody else loaded their last save file and suddenly your thriving community popped up on their screen. I can only hope. The more likely scenario is unthinkable.

Wherever you all are, I am so very sorry. I will be naming my next city's largest park in your honor. They will know of you. They will learn the lessons of history. Perhaps a holiday will be devoted to Backup Day.

Your regretful bringer of doom,
Cid.

Never heard of that game. I presume it's essentially a SimCity type game? How is it? And is it really worth $30?

It's the game that people might wish the newest SimCity would have been. It's fantastic, and for me it's been worth the price, but I'm the kind of person who loves this sort of title.

Road-building seems to be a really good interface, and I like how the way you lay out roads will affect traffic patterns. And I tend to give some leeway to any game that works so closely with the modding community to let people shape things to their own whim.

Dear POSTREPLY button on RLF. I hate you. I continually use you instead of the "Submit" button. Then my post is sent in to the virtual nothingness and I have to recreate it.

Unfortunately Raptor I usually RLF during lunch at work. My version of Corporate America's outdated browser/security policies makes that not true :*(

Dear people on holiday

I'm at home. Entertaining a six year-old. Please stop faceposting pictures of yourself on tropical beaches. It makes me want to Hulk out and destroy the neighbourhood.
