"Except Judd Nelson. He was harsh."

A line from a movie I love.

Is it from a Kevin Smith movie? I've read the Jay and Silent Bobs where they're similarly obsessed with the works of John Hughes.

By the time you both sober up, you're a couple. I think I had moved in with Nicola before either of us really gave it a thought.

At that point, the problems may start to emerge: incompatibility for whatever reason, but by that point hopefully they have enough in the 'pro' column that the good outweighs the bad or at least to a level you can live with.
What? There's no haggis involved at all in Scottish dating? I am disillusioned.

I think that is the cause of the people getting drunk in the first place.

Haggis is actually nice. And certainly not any iffier than a lot of things we eat.

Although I believe there's something in it that makes exporting it to the US a problem. The lungs maybe? Part of the offal anyway.

Kebabs are now the drunkard's choice. No self-respecting jake is going to go home and cook.

Someone find Fixer or Blaze. Or... Who else hasn't been here a while? Smointe? billf?

Wow, my head almost hurts to imagine it. Wasnt' there some chick with a name that had something to do with a cheetah?
MissCheetah.

I doubt Blaze will be back considering the backlash he received and his two-faced white knight act was finally seen through.

billf is now on as PantlessWonder

There it is! That's right. I don't remember a backlash toward Blaze. But I'm assuming it was during some random sabbatical of mine. Or something... I won't ask for rumors. I'll look it up myself. Shame, though. Good community here. Weird as it is.

OH! And I was going to say something about haggis. Yeah, that's right! I remembered. It IS illegal to put lung in food. It's a USDA regulation. I have had haggis without that particular "pluck" (as you all call it) and it's pretty good. It's just that we're not close to having it with actual lung.

Aaaaaaand... I'm cool with that.

USDA has my back sometimes.

Lung. Gross. But you have to wonder... Why lung? they let me eat buttholes in my hotdogs here. Actually, they let me eat actual buttholes and just call them chitterlings. No problems there. But lung? Nope. Sorry. Just ignore the law and enjoy you some fresh butthole instead.

Laws are weird...

But if I find myself in Europe soon, I'll try me some genuine haggis. Do the Germans make a decent one? I'll be there in a couple months. Or the Swiss? Maybe the Austrians?

(honeymoon).
My sig would have contained the secret of life, but I'd already clicked submit.

Blaze made some ill-considered remarks on sexual consent and was pilloried for it. There might have been more to his story but I'm not quite sure.
