Eh, I don't think I could go. It would depend on the cost.

No, are you guys crazy? Why would I spend that kind of money on a super cheap week's vacation somewhere?

Absolutely not. I'm barely able to afford ramen right now.

Well I only have one queen bed, 2 couches, and the rest of the space on my king bed to sleep guests, so unless sleeping bags are deployed I don't think my house really qualifies to host enough people :)

That said, I may be interested in a Vegas getaway. I hadn't considered it in a long time. One of these days I have to sneak out to Hatteras and go fishing with IG. But of course the peak season for that activity coincides with peak season for the deli, so that's not super convenient for them :)

It is nothing of the sort! It's cozy and sexy, not cavernous and smelly, cur.

I am going to the mountains in western NC in Oct and that will be my first vacation in a while. I would love to look at another Vegas or Reno trip I had so much fun the last time. I still try to explain the adult escort card game haha. Deacon, April is a good time, its not too busy with tourist yet and the fishing is good. You are welcome any time with the last duckling off to college this year there are 3 empty bedrooms most of the time.

I have 3 sleeping bags, two of which are army extreme cold ready. Also a tent that can fit 3 people without needing to get into the butt stuff (but who wouldn't want too?).

It has now been 15 years since I have set foot in Vegas. That needs to be ratified. VEGAS BABY!!

This is all making me miss the hay-day of this forum. A time when I was seriously thinking of back-packing the entire country using forumites houses as way station on my journey. :(

Would be a double win for me, see the family that lives there and meet weird people I have only known online.

Fine, I'm going to my own Deacon's house. With hookers...and blackjack...

Err, Vegas it is. 8)

I cannot endorse a Vegas getaway because it doesn't actually get me...you know...away. But I'll come chill with you guys again after the toddler goes to bed.

It's been a year since I was in Vegas last. I've been meaning to get back there.

There's plenty of space around here for camping. I have a 5th wheel travel trailer with a queen bed, a built-in futon, and the kitchen table comes out and converts into a fairly small bed as well. I would have no problem hosting some people.

Firebird, April sounds nice! I'll keep that in mind. I may be dragging my friend and his wife and kid with us, as he's my hetero soulmate and a fishing fool :)
