So we use our stock pot for making huge batches of stovetop popcorn at once. It's great.
We only recently actually started making anything like stock with it.

My wife makes gallons of spaghetti sauce at one time. Takes her a whole day.
I am intrigued by the popcorn, though. Care to share?

The popcorn's super easy: I just toss in 3-5 tablespoons of butter and melt it over medium heat. Then I toss in a canary kernel: A single one that I wait to pop. Then once it pops I toss in 1-1.5 cups of popcorn and cover it. It starts popping pretty fast, and I don't touch it until I start hearing the popping frequency go down. Take it off the heat, leave in the pot for a bit while I melt some more butter and salt (assuming I use unsalted butter). After a couple of minutes, I toss the mostly-melted butter and salt into the pot and toss everything around until the butter and salt has spread throughout the pot and hopefully flavored the popcorn.
