Welcome, Mae.

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

It's adorable that your new avatar fits the forum ovals even though that theme hasn't been a thing for a long while now. :D

Had to create an account on here just to comment -- welcome Mae, and it'll be nice getting to (re)-know you, too! Been following the comic since near the beginning, and thrilled that you've discovered yourself in this way. Just as much a fan of Mae Dean as I always was with the 'past cartoonist'...and yes, I cried too to see the signature change...then had to go back and check to see if I'd just spaced out and not seen it on the other comics in the arc. XD

Nothing wrong with that ;)

I mean, if I change my avatar I'm absolutely digging out the oval template.

Mae! Copyright Mae Dean!

Very happy for you, very glad the comic is still running too. I can't be the only person here who feels honoured to be here with you.

Awesome comic. I've also been enjoying O Human Star, highly recommended to anybody who is enjoying Mae's comic right now. (A common theme or two, like futuristic technology, and a humanoid intelligence that is finding... herself.)

Thank you Mae for sharing your journey with us. I know this was deeply personal and it helped me understand how life must feel for you. I can't say I know what it is like and I appreciate you letting us all see behind the curtain. The whole story arc was very touching and definitely got me in the feels. I am happy for you that you clearly have the support of those that love you. I look forward to seeing your story move forward both here and the actual RL. I love that this board has people from so many places and lifestyles.

As someone who can’t truly relate, this was a fantastic window into a world different from mine. Thank you!

I sat back in my chair at the last panel of Friday's comic. There may have been a couple of tears in my eyes. As much as I've related to this comic before, I don't think I've ever had that happen.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

I love you guys. I hope you know that. :)

It really means a lot that you enjoyed it - I feel like a lot of you are extended family (even though I haven't seen you in forever) and having you along for the journey is really important to me.
