Goodbye RL Comics

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Goodbye RL Comics

Post by Draconix78 » Sun May 15, 2016 9:44 am

It saddens me that I will be removing RL comics from my toolbar. Been following for about 13 years or so. I understand RL happens but don't leave fans in the lurch. It has been 5 months without any posts or news or so much a frak off. So why should we bother checking anymore? I wish Greg and family the best but its time to pull the sheet over the comic and bow our heads in silence because its done with. :(

The comic has been limping at best for quite a while. The forums have lingered and several people lurk. Just change your RL link to RLF :).

Michael Moore will be doing the documentary soon, a postmortem on what happened and how it was handled.

I blame RLC's demise solely on the time, years ago, that Greg refused my guest strip.

That is sound reasoning.

Given some of the posts that I have seen Rors make this is indeed sound reasoning, if you consider the source.

I'm keeping it bookmarked. It's like a little game. I open up my webcomics folder on a given day, and when I get to RLC I think will today be the day? Makes me feel like Alfred at the end of The Dark Knight Rises.

Today will not be the day.

What do we say to making comics?

Not today.

Not today.

I sympathise. "Hey baby. Want to stay in our nice warm bed?" "No. I'm going to get up early to go make a webcomic".

I know which I'd do.
