1/4/08 - Alternative Transportation

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

LOL!

speaking as a long term non car owner, I've always had to rely on shank's pony to get me from a to b.

well, that and public transport.- just think of it as you and Liz's way of reducing your carbon footprint.

If you need to insert a hyperlink so people understand what you're saying... Don't.

:D

EDIT: I know it's not a hyperlink. Back off.

Texas. Horses, not ponies.

True, but had to make it work off of the quote. Besides, a pony would fit better in their yard, lol.

I don't know, it's a pretty big yard :)

Please. They both work from home anyway, so it's not a huge footprint to begin with, and we won't argue whether this recent carbon footprint fad is of any value at all, but there's not a lot of public transportation in small-town America.

Heh. Buses? In Lockhart? That just makes me laugh. You could have ONE bus, completing a circuit every five minutes.

Love it!

I love the expression in the last panel. Good job Greg!

Also, imagine how much weight you'll lose walking everywhere guys! Ignore that cold and walk! :)

That facial expression in the last panel, and the one in the third panel yesterday just crack me up.

Also, as someone who walks quite a bit (as I don't own a car), the top end might not be so great, but the fuel is cheaper and you can easily go off-road to take any shortcut you want.

It took me a few moments to notice he was pointing to his feet. At first I thought he was pointing to Liz. I was thinking "wow, he's going to get hurt."

Yeah, when I first saw this comic, I thought Greg was planning to ride Liz to work :P
