Server accessibility

Post by Martin Blank » Mon Sep 30, 2013 2:46 am

The server may not be accessible (or depending on when you see this have been accessible) for a bit. The hosting provider is changing IP address ranges for very good technical reasons, so your DNS might hold (or might have held) the old address until the record times out. I'm making the change later than I wanted because I've been at DerbyCon and have had little sleep or free time, leaving me with nothing but an outage and no trusted network over which to log in to Facebook or Twitter to post there (I'm on a new system).

Anyway... that's the reason the server will be or has been inaccessible to some. It just takes time for the world's servers to catch up.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.
