Exhibit A, back at the hotel near LAX while I travel for work this week.

Yeah, I have those bare patches. It’s annoying.
In saying that, I could complete the circuit over this picture quite easily.

The cool thing is both I and everything around me defy gravity, apparently, so that's neat. Might make for some awkward stains on the wall...

PS To be clear, in Chrome and IE it shows the pic sideways. No idea why. In mobile Safari (iPhone) it shows it properly upright, as it does in Windows Explorer if I download it, as it does in Paint.NET when I go to edit it. WTF.

That image rotation looks like sorcery, but apparently it's from a buggy/non-standard Orientation implementation:

Sure enough! Opened the image in a new tab in Chrome, and it showed properly. Not sure why that happened that way, only that phpBB is so far behind other platforms like XenForo that I'm not used to having to upload files from my phone to services like TinyPic. Downloaded the pic to my desktop, edited it in Paint.NET after rotating it over, saved, then rotated it upright, saved again, and now whatever Chrome is doing has been straightened out.

January 24th, I made a huge mistake:

Thankfully it's sorted itself out, somewhat:

Yeah, once you’ve had beard, all else looks weird.

I can’t clean-shave any more. I look like a hybrid of Uncle Fester, a plucked chicken, and Darth Vader when he takes his helmet off in Jedi.

Crossed with a Sontaran.

HA! That’s a helluva combo to imagine, Rors.

PS I never plan to go back to a bald face.

I somehow missed this insightful exchange. I personally am not a big fan of beards as far as close contact (kissing etc). However from a distance I like them. So I guess if you aren't my husband and won't be getting up close anytime soon grow away! My husband did have a nice bit growing when we got married, but 6 months later it was gone and hasn't been seen since. I may have played a part in that ;). You guys look very manly with your growth it's more accent than full on mountain man which I like. Rors thank you for the Sontaran reference that put it all in a perfect image of you (I kid I kid).

I can never do a full beard. I've actually got a lot of weird bald spots on my face that I have to trim around which has the side-effect of keeping it very neat.

So shall we just sack this 'comic' thing and make this simply a beard forum?

I'm down with that.
I'm putting my talents and skills to use for a business so that I receive compensatory funds that I may then choose to spend and invest and save as I see fit. If I choose to blow it all on hookers and Dr. Seuss books, I don't see how that means you owe me a comfortable retirement. - Deacon

Here’s me with my beard.

I also have some facial hair in this photo.
