Beard oil

Post by Sir Spankspeople » Mon Dec 04, 2017 4:07 pm

So, what's your favourite mix?

Personally I like some key lime essential oil, with a hint of orange and lemon. Love that citrus smell, and I definitely need the moisturizing that comes with avocado/almond oil.

Been thinking of branching out into a nice woodsy smell though. Just ordered some Cedar oil online, oddly couldn't find sandalwood at a decent price. Might have to hit up the local pharmacy or something.

I just use Honest Amish, though it's a little stronger smell than I prefer. Haven't really branched out into making my own.

I think these beards deserve exposure to the wider world.

Wow.
You’d do well to out-manly that second picture.

I don't have a beard anymore. manliness--

When I had one, it was pretty straight and easy. Never felt like I needed to oil it.

I don't oil it much, but I also don't keep it long anymore. I just don't have the genetics for it to match my vision of what I'd like it to look like. So I keep it short. Easier to maintain regardless. I don't have any good pics, but here are a few recent ones:

Oh, man. I'm actually just getting off a really bad case of "Working in the hospitality industry", so I've barely gotten out in the last few years and don't have any good pictures.

Here's one where I was testing my webcam (a Galaxy S4 I built from parts off ebay stuck to my computer with a car phone mount):

Heh, last night I had a dream I had grown out a long beard. Apropos of nothing.

I had my post deer season trim a week or so ago. Working from home today so I've not bothered to brush or oil this morning.

I don’t. I have a beard in the same way that a tomato does when it falls behind the vegetable drawer and you find it weeks later.

I’ve had a beard for years. Probably 8 so far? Usually kept relatively short and neat, though.
