Watched Kingsman 2 yesterday. Was very worried about them fucking it up, since the first is one of my favourite films.
Happy to say they didn't fuck it up, very good movie, lots of fun from start to finish.

Well then I may actually check it out.

Yeah, I'm excited for it. I wasn't expecting that much of the first one but it turned out to be excellent.

I was the same for the first one. The concept just sounded cringe-worthy "Chav joins organisation of Gentleman Spies"
Then I was forced to watch it and it was fucking excellent. Never had I been so happy to be so wrong.

Though, during this movie I got annoyed because I was desperately trying to remember where I recognised one of the actors from and it was driving me crazy.
It was Pedro Pascal, I knew him as Oberyn from GoT....
Was such a relief to finally stop thinking about it and enjoy the movie.

Everyone is in or has been in GoT. There are only so many actors in the world.
Oh, he was in a Wonder Woman pilot in 2011. Sorry to see that was never commissioned.

I was in a semi-comatose state in front of the TV a few nights ago watching HBO. "Gods of Egypt" came on. And I was in such a tired state I decided I would watch the first few minutes, yknow, for a laugh. How bad could it be?

But within like 5 minutes... IS THAT JAIME FUCKING LANNISTER?

(I turned it off like 2 minutes later, WOW it was bad)

I’ve tried to watch that twice now.
I can’t.
I just can’t.

Holy crap I saw two movies in two weeks, thats the fastest I've been back to the cinema ever o.o

Just home from watching the new Bladerunner. There's loads I could say about it, and I imagine there's tons more for movie-buffs to really dig into. Even a pleb like me can see how much effort went into the cinematography and the storytelling. It was a really great film, I don't think there was anywhere I thought it let itself down.

I can absolutely see it not being everyone's cup of tea. It's incredibly true to the original. If you liked the original bladerunner, you'll like this. If you didn't, it won't have much for you.

Thanos made the missus cry. This makes me happy because I get to do a MCU marathon so she can get caught up.

Saw it last week, I would put it in my must-see column. Well written, good storyline and a strong female lead that didn't have to be a bitchy butch to achieve it.

I saw it. It’s pretty good. I want to procreate with Gemma Chan but all being as is, that’s probably pretty unlikely.
