Kick it!

Kick Starter that is. I've backed a few things, and the people behind Zombicide (co-op zombie survival board game, I supported that kickstarter drive) just came out with an expansion which I have also backed. I was wondering what projects people think look interesting, mock-worthy, etc.

The micro biome project (uBiome) is pretty cool. So I backed it: http://www.wired.com/geekdad/2012/11/ubiome/

Anything Zach Weinersmith (SMBC) does I tend to back, including this: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/wei ... -smbc-coll

I backed and promoted the Wardenclyffe project, which I think is patently awesome: http://www.indiegogo.com/teslamuseum

I just noticed that these things tend to be somewhat based in the science world.

Here are the projects I'm currently packing...
  • Death Inc. - Unique RTS with a pretty wicked control scheme. The art direction is quite appealing and I think it's going to be a great game...unfortunately it needs a lot of funding in a little amount of time
  • Machine of Death - Table top game where you must use your creativity to kill people with predestined deaths
  • The Cyanide and Happiness Show - C&H animations, that about sums it up
  • RiffTrax Wants to Riff Twilight - RiffTrax (guys from Mystery Science Theater 3000) will be using the funding to try and acquire the rights to Riff Twilight live
  • Almond+ - A wireless-AC router with ZigBee and ZWave built in (also a touch screen so you can use it as a home automation control panel)

Just backed Rob Paravonian's new album (for those not familiar with the name, it's the Pachelbel Rant guy)
