Were you watching the British version? I haven't seen the American take on it, but I've heard it's pretty good.

I have watched both and it took me a bit to adjust to the American version but they did a surprisingly good job.

As I understand it the bar for taking British shows and making decent American versions is pretty low. Although The Office seems to have carried well enough too so maybe we've hit a c-c-c-combo-breaker.

Rave: I'm not a Blackhawks fan but holy crap, that streak of theirs is getting on pretty amazing.

Rave: The UK representative for Eurovision this year is a 63 year old lady best known for singing "Total Eclipse of the Heart", singing a song written by an American song writer. What, Sharon Boyles wasn't available? Did the dog who won Britain Got Talent not qualify? Instead they have a woman who might as well be Sir Wogan's date to Eurovision that night.

Would love to see the odds that the UK don't finish last…

Susan Boyle?

It's not the first time a professional has represented the UK and I doubt we're alone in that. The competition has no integrity anyway. It's all about the politics.

Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart was on the first mix tape a girl ever gave to me, by the by. :)

Yes, I meant Susan Boyle. I know it's political, but I just do find it funny what countries will nominate. Britain could have sent a naked Princess Kate and still finish dead last.

I think the UK shouldn't play Eurovision's reindeer games anymore. They've got plenty of bad singing reality show of their own anyway.

Princess Kate(she's a Duchess, by the way, not a Princess) needs to eat a couple more cheeseburgers.

From a preview of the next episode of Chicago Fire: ...and nothing can prepare you for this. "I want us to have a baby together."

Really? Nothing can prepare me for that? Really? Like maybe that promo? Who's the genius in the network's marketing department? I feel dumber for having seen that promo.
