Like I said I'd be willing to bet a year of hosting costs that I've experienced it in Firefox as well from the desktop. Not sure it has anything specifically to do with Tapatalk, or at least is not relegated to it.

I'm seeing it now, too. The posts might be out of sync. It gives me a better place to start looking.

Just throwing that out there: 1,659 or 1,660 (p83) instead of 1,1684 (p85)

I think I have what I need. I'll know more in a few days when I get a chance to update the code and do some other things.

OK, I'll stop trying to keep metrics :)

Just for reference, this doesn't seem to have slowed much if any...

I've run into it, too, and I'm still not sure what it is. :\

Man this continues to be a pain in my ass. I've googled the issue but can't seem to find others with the exact same problem, at least that have posted about it to phpbb.com anyway. It's got to be something server side because it seems to affect everyone and across disparate platforms and clients.

I know. Now that the wedding and honeymoon are in the past, I have a lot more time to look into it.

Is there such a thing as being able to put a "bookmark" in a thread? For some reason that term came up during some of my searching. I've never heard of it, but I notice that Tapatalk 2 uses a little bookmark looking icon when viewing the whole list of page numbers of a particular thread (only noticed because that's the quickest way to skip ahead a bunch of pages to get the current posts), so that's nagging in the back of my mind, but it may be a symptom of my occasional apophenia.

You can, but it's a separate thing from this issue. I'm seeing it and I don't use Tapatalk myself. It's coming through Chrome and Firefox, so it's clearly something on the forum side.
