Re: Couple of quick tech updates

Oh hey, Opera actually released a new version of their Presto based browser out of nowhere. Mainly to add support for a bunch of cypher suites that didn't exist when they made the switch to chrome's webkit engine. But you know how I always liked to comment on problems with Opera, so for old time's s...

I lurk because I feel I have so little worth saying. But when it's inactive that just means it's really quick and easy to check for new posts. :D

Re: Sandi Toksvig?

I actually saw the announcement and my first thought was that it made perfect sense. Even now I struggle to think of anyone else who could even come close to filling the Stephen Fry role, maybe Alexander Armstrong?

Re: Windows 10

There's one exception: it won't go to sleep on its own anymore. I have my desktop set to go to sleep after a while, maybe 30 minutes, but it never does go to sleep on its own anymore. I have to hit the Sleep button on the keyboard. I saw something about some USB devices being automatically configur...

Re: Songs you should listen to

BtEO, the one in English could really be any generic American female pop song. Could've been done by anyone from Beyoncé to Ariana Grande. I'm wondering if that's the idea, maybe trying to make it in the rest of the world? Or maybe they just pulled a song off the shelf and recorded it... At last lo...

Re: Songs you should listen to

Are we going to bring Japanese and Korean music into this now? In that case... I've never understood the fascination of nerdy white dudes with Japanese and Korean music. Even the legit anime fans. I'm not sure I could fully explain it. On the surface it seems little different from much of the US/UK...

Grand gestures like this could well help that goal. And while I'm war...

Also, thanks for the idea Rors. No caption needed frankly.
