Re: The 80s were Weird??

I lived through the 80's and I can say for a fact that they were weird. With that said, every decade is weird. They are just weird in different ways.

Re: Namesakes emails

Some people do go to them. I've thought about going to my 25 next year, but there isn't very many people from my school days that I want to see again.

I'm 2300 miles from home and not able to watch any videos right now so I didn't want to jump in without all the info.

Gregs lack of updates will do far more than this little thread when it comes to getting people to stop reading his comic.

Re: Help: will this idea sink my boat?

A hole the size you are talking about will not have an effect on the buoyancy (as long as it doesn't leak inside the boat that is.) The weight of the sink would have much more of an effect on it. There are two possible problems with this idea. 1) While it is more likely for the water to be sucked ou...

Re: Dangers of committing violent crime

It's unfortunate that two men lost their lives, but the moment they threatened someone with a gun, they put their lives on the line. They pulled deadly weapons on him. He had every reason to believe that his life was on the line and he defended himself. There is no justice in a case like this. The g...

Re: Worried

We can get health-care (hospitals can't turn people away.) We just have to pay for everything ourselves. It comes down to how much you can afford to get taken care of. It's not unheard of for uninsured people to file bankruptcy over medical bills.

Re: Children suspended for "infraction" while NOT AT SCHOOL

I blame the whole Zero Tolerance BS that has taken over. A few busybodies are so afraid that kids will grow up thinking that guns are okay that they will do anything to punish anyone that doesn't think like they do. There was a time when you would call the parent of a kid that was misbehaving. Now p...

I was talking about the one based on my name. You would be surprised by the number of times people have wanted my Doc Giggles email address though. It's odd enough that you wouldn't think people would ask for them.

Re: Namesakes emails

I have one email address that I've had for 8 years that a dentist decided he wanted to use. After printing up business cards, fliers, billboards, and hung a large banner on his building, he was shocked to find that someone else already had that email when he tried to get it. That's right, he did all...
