As my dad works for AMD, I'd just like to point out that the only fab plant that they have overseas is in Dreden, Germany. Not exactly a third world country.

Infin8Cyn- I left it on overnight, no good. It doesn't matter anymore. i decided that since it was such a tough nut to crack, I would use a sledgehammer. I got a new hard drive, put on Windows, then the drivers. It still went blank, but only for a minute. Now it's fine, I just need to copy over all ...

Billy- The bios does the post test, it runs through all of the bios-y things, it goes to the WinXP loading screen with the bar at the bottom, then, instead of going to the 'welcome' screen, it goes blank.

It's 300 watts, so it should be plenty. The thing is, it was working before I installed the drivers, I even used it to go to real life forums. Non-booting computer

I just got a new motherboard and processor, as my old motherboard bit the dust. I now have an Athlon XP 2500+ and a Shuttle an35 ultra nforce2 motherboard. Everything was working fine until I installed the drivers for the motherboard. Now, it starts up fine until after the Windows XP loading screen....

Putting them on a zip disk is probably the easiest way- I haven't noticed a drop in framerate when I run ZSNES off of a disk as opposed to the HD- it's not that taxing a program.

But couldn't they still vote how they wanted, and face the repercussions from the states later? (Fines, jail time, etc..) Probably wouldn't be a good idea, though.
