Re: WoW Classic

The completionist in me enjoys WoW Retail for solo exploring all of the old content I skipped after I stopped raiding. Collecting mounts and stuff like that. I burn out on it every few months and take a month or 2 off. Sadly it's hard for me to get into video games these days. I enjoyed the crap out...

Re: WoW Classic

I ended up rolling a human mage on Ashkandi out of curiosity. In the couple hours it took to get to level 7, Vanilla is just as shitty as I remembered. Endless walking followed by quick fights with lots of drinking between. I don't see the allure.

Re: Randomness

I feel like the Japanese have a service company for everything. I watched a youtube video featuring a couple that hired a Japanese moving company...The service was insane. Handled packing and everything even down to removing ceiling lights from the apartment at the end. Before doing anything they co...

Re: WoW Classic

I've thought about it but don't particularly remember vanilla game play all that fondly. The nostalgia for me comes from quality game time with close friends who have mostly drifted apart. I was in college when WoW came out and there were 5 or 6 of us that hung out all day, then met up in SWG/CoH/Wo...

Rave/Rant: Looks like we might finally start building a house on our land soon. This assumes the appraisal on the land + house comes out where I need it and the bank will loan us an obscene amount of money.

Re: When did you join RLC?

Not the youngest. May 2007 here. I was reading the comic in 2001 I think but hadn't really joined any forums at that point. These days I rarely have time for more than a cursory glance at the forum every few days.

Re: The Guns and Weapons Thread

Sounds like a good brush gun. The 1-4 optic is a beautiful thing. I put a Trijicon TR-24g 1-4x24 with the BAC reticle (green triangle on a stick) on one of my guns and it's awesome. Selling them always sucks but you can always buy more later. I decided not to free float the handguards on this one so...

Re: The Guns and Weapons Thread

You didn't notice anything odd about that lower, like maybe the AK mag? PSA KS-47 pistol lower :D. I don't currently have anything that shoots 7.62x39 and figured it'd be a fun truck gun. I'm also planning an m92 PAP ak pistol build or I might just buy a PSA AK-P once AK Operator's Union signs off o...

Re: The Guns and Weapons Thread

Yep, but my stepdad is a gunsmith/FFL with a machine shop. This'll be my first project but he'll be there showing me the ropes. We'll cut, crown, and thread it on the lathe. I may start at 12.5" to get a feel for it and then shorten it to 12". I'm fine with it being as short as 10.5" but I prefer 12...

Re: The Guns and Weapons Thread

New project. Have a 16" classic M4 handguard + A2 FSB upper coming in Monday that will get chopped to 12" after I put a few hundred rounds through it.

Re: This is why I can't do business with Amazon

I love eBooks but I want DRM Free local copies I can backup to a couple cloud services I control (sortof). Physical books take up too much space and mostly do nothing but gather dust. I generally only handle physical books when I make a trip to the local library to find something new to add to the r...
