Re: GREG DEAN IS A THIEF!!!

Yeah Sneaky, I came back after being gone for 5+ years and saw this insanity. And you are right, what kind of person steals someone else's money, and uses their OWN name to do it!?!

Re: GREG DEAN IS A THIEF!!!

With the animosity towards the Deans and the social dominance of facebook, I'm sort of surprised any of the old regulars are still here. This place has been an entity in and of itself for a long time (I recall discussions on that very topic back in the day). I stopped reading the comic years before...

Re: GREG DEAN IS A THIEF!!!

I'm equally surprised there was never a class action lawsuit. Y'all have been stolen from. The Deans took your money and ran with it, and the only action you take is complaining about it on a forum they don't even visit? I can't believe that anyone would send them money in the first place, much less...

Re: Computer Building/Buying

Look for hard drives on sale. Newegg and Amazon constantly have price reductions. Although, you will likely have to piece together components from different retailers to get the best bargain. In your price range, get an Intel i7 and choose whether you want sacrifice cooling for noise in your CPU coo...

Coolest Apartment Furniture Ever

This is quite possibly the coolest set of apartment furniture that I have ever seen: http://www.treehugger.com/files/2008/02/casulo_an_entir.php http://www.mein-casulo.de/en/en_index.htm It starts as a 31"x47" box and becomes an entire room's worth of furniture in under 10 minutes. This almost makes...

Yup, we don't really need another Somalia. Especially since Iraq actually provides something of some importance to the rest of the world.

Re: Nannies with control issues

ampersand, thats nothing. When I used to have an hour and a half commute I routinely saw people eating, shaving (with a blade razor, not an electric), not to mention the 10-15 women that I passed putting on makeup (eyeliner, mascara (sp?), lipstick, and eyeshadow). WTF people, pay attention to the d...

Re: Nannies with control issues

Why take away freedoms for anything at all? Well they do it because it gets them votes. Politicians have one purpose in office, to ensure thier re-election. If they can take freedom away from a few to get more votes from the masses they are likely to do it. Don't get it confused Deacon, both major p...

Re: The 2008 US presidential election, and why it's different

That's the same problem with the Republicans: their ideas seem like recycled ideas that were attempted over and over again. Escuze? While I don't necessarily agree withampersand's statement, I did find the "who can be more like Reagan" game to be quite hilarious. If only because we are in a very di...
