Or maybe more like Randy Newman...

What that we could all be more like Randy Newman.

Rave: I have to admit I get a little kick out of refreshing my podcast subscriptions on iTunes and the newest one is actually mine. I know, that's vain of me, but it's a frustrating business, getting anywhere feels really good.

Rant/Rave/Taco: As a sportswriter based in Boston who writes for a Florida-based website, is a baseball expert, and has an affinity for the Boston Red Sox, let me say that May 1/2, 2017 are a pair of extremely long, weird days. And I mean "weird" in a true Hunter S. Thompson sense.

Rant/Rave/Buy The Ticket/Take The Ride: Time to find out if I'm a good enough writer to put all this in a column.

I don't quite know what that means but good luck.

Rave: Strike days!

Rant: I don't get paid for them.

When do we get to read it?

TL;DR

Hahahaha just kidding :)

I'm nowhere near inside baseball, but I'll give it a read.

Just finished it. That was really well done. Even someone like me with little or no context could follow it easily and well, and your points all seemed to be far more reasonable than hometown yelling. Two thumbs up :)

Yeah, that was really well done. And I say that as a man who had no idea what you were talking about but enjoyed your writing anyway.

Good jerb.

Don't come around often, so I only just read your article Cid. I liked it. As I don't watch the sportstown sports when they sport the sport, I had no idea there was a baseball equivalent to hockey fights. That's a cool "insders" thing. Although, it did feel a little at the end like you lost your focus and should have written a second article about racism in baseball.

game of thrones, anybody?

"Chaos isn't a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail and never get to try again. The fall breaks them."

What an amazing line to tie it back together.

This last episode was one of the best so far. Bran laying his wisdom down hardcore! Arya was in her element, Littlefinger can't play a master player. And then um yeah dragons... sweet!

quote talk, spoilers
Spoiler: (click to reveal/hide)
I think this is one of the best lines so far, absolutely devastating for Littlefinger. I always kind of liked Littlefinger. I'm curious how it plays out in the books. But to give the dagger to Bran? What weird poetic outcome is he trying to accomplish? If he thought redemption, get fucked. Arya is going to use that dagger to cut him ear to ear.
