Re: Randomness

Which is why you came here. So that rage feels didn't let your actions pull you past socially acceptable norms. Good planning, really.

Re: Son of Rantettes & Ravettes

Don't come around often, so I only just read your article Cid. I liked it. As I don't watch the sportstown sports when they sport the sport, I had no idea there was a baseball equivalent to hockey fights. That's a cool "insders" thing. Although, it did feel a little at the end like you lost your foc...

Re: I cannae have another drink

I drink MAYBE 3 times a yearish. Beer: Don't like it. I'd prefer Soda thank you. If I feel like it, I might have like a Blue Moon. Red's Apple Ale? Wine: Don't like it. Desert Wines that are Kool-Aid sweet are ok. Spirits: Don't like em. Goldschlager? I don't drink them since I stopped trying to get...

Bit of a Necro, but one last thing. You're raising your daughter in a world where there will be a Star Wars movie...EVERY....YEAR...until it stops making money. So....forever. REJOICE, MY FRIEND.

A. Coffee is a vile bitter substance fit not even for a dog I dislike. 2. Drink your drink on the throne. Your own stench couldn't possibly make it taste worse.

It's like someone read the intro from a well thought out piece and then asked whatever question they wanted to.

Re: The near-term future of the Republican Party

So, I just read straight through from Dec 10. Deacon's catch up response actually made me laugh aloud. This election has really crystallized for me that I have become genuinely socially liberal, though I'm still registered Republican. I still think of myself as fiscally conservative, but in a lot of...

Re: Trucks!

I also no longer own the F-150 (as of this past weekend)! It started having computer problems and just all kinds of other bullshit. We traded it in for a Kia Optima. No longer will we be chained to 15mpg!

Re: Space, The Final Frontier

Yeah, I played it aggressively for a few weeks. It is an AMAZING game. But it's also a sandbox, without enough sand. The developers have mentioned that they'd like to get you able to walk around your own craft AND space stations. Get that up and running (Ideally with some means of player defined mis...

You're both BAT RASTARDS! I haven't watched that episode yet, so I've been VERY cautious in the Dr. Who thread. DAMNIT.

I just heard this weekend that he was in a punk band with Craig Ferguson back in the day. Source unknown.

Re: Hearthstone

Dreamer, I haven't played Hearthstone, but I played a boatload of Magic: The Gathering back in the day. Sounds to me like you've fallen into a basic flaw of deck design. You said "All my decks are build for the long game.", and I get that. It's SO SATISFYING to see all of your pieces come together, ...

Re: Dota 2

No. Too deep. Basically (my understanding is) that DOTA 2 abilities are expected to be SIGNIFICANT. Therefore the mana cost of them is exhorbitant. In LoL, for MOST chars, they are expected to be used ALMOST on cool down. Playing DOTA2 like that will quickly run you of mana and turn you into a minio...

Can we get this thread locked with a disclaimer: Noone here cares and the Deans don't come here anymore. Yes we know it says RealLife at the top. No, we still don't care. Yes, we understand you're still butthurt 5?10? years later over $100. No, we still don't care. Incidentally Promatim, I SUSPECT t...
